Security Officer Part Time Driver Credential Verification

As a Security Officer Part Time Driver Credential Verification in Reynoldsburg, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a retail location, you will help manage entry points, monitor access activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, reliability, and care.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor and control access to retail and mall locations by verifying credentials, maintaining visitor records, and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned retail areas, entrances, stockroom access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and access-control documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
