Creator Partnership Manager information

What is a Creator Partnership Manager?

A Creator Partnership Manager is a professional responsible for building and maintaining relationships between a company and content creators, such as influencers, YouTubers, or social media personalities. They identify potential creators to collaborate with, negotiate partnership deals, and help creators maximize their impact through campaigns or brand initiatives. Their goal is to ensure mutually beneficial relationships that help both the company and the creators grow their audiences and achieve their objectives.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Creator Partnership Manager?

To thrive as a Creator Partnership Manager, you need a strong background in influencer marketing, relationship management, and an understanding of digital content trends, often supported by a degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. Familiarity with influencer marketing platforms, social media analytics tools, and CRM systems is typically required. Excellent interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, and adaptability help you build lasting partnerships and drive campaign success. These skills are vital for effectively identifying, engaging, and nurturing creator relationships that contribute to brand growth and innovation.

What are some common challenges faced by a Creator Partnership Manager when building and maintaining relationships with content creators?

As a Creator Partnership Manager, one common challenge is balancing the diverse needs and expectations of creators while aligning them with the company's goals. Creators often have unique content styles, schedules, and audience demands, which may not always perfectly match partnership objectives. Additionally, managing multiple relationships simultaneously requires strong communication and organizational skills to ensure timely responses and effective collaboration. Navigating contract negotiations and performance metrics can also be complex, but building trust and providing value to creators is key to long-term success.

What you'll do:

We're looking for an innovative and strategic Creator & Influencer Manager to lead our influencer initiatives within the fast-paced fintech industry. You will build a robust influencer program that increases user acquisition and drives trust in our products. This role is ideal for someone who understands the intersection of content, credibility, and compliance in financial services.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute scalable influencer marketing strategies aligned with company goals around customer acquisition, engagement, and brand trust
  • Identify, segment, vet, and onboard influencer partners who resonate with the active trader audience across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and emerging channels
  • Partner with Compliance and Legal to ensure influencer content, disclosures, disclaimers, and financial promotions meet regulatory standards (e.g., NFA, CFTC, FTC)
  • Negotiate campaign terms and compensation that create mutually beneficial relationships
  • Maintain long-term partnerships with brand-aligned influencers and financial content creators
  • Oversee end-to-end campaign management from concept through execution to performance review
  • Collaborate with Product and Growth Marketing to integrate influencer content into broader campaigns
  • Own content scripting and creative direction, providing creators with briefs, talking points, and hands-on support to produce on-brand, compliant content
  • Define, track, and analyze campaign KPIs (acquisition, engagement, conversions, and cost per acquisition), conduct A/B testing, and deliver data-driven recommendations
  • Support international growth by adapting creator strategy to regional audiences, platforms, and compliance requirements

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Finance, or a related field
  • 3 to 6+ years of influencer marketing experience, preferably in fintech, trading platforms, or financial apps
  • Strong understanding of the financial content landscape and the importance of trust and compliance in communications
  • Proven success managing influencers in regulated environments
  • Excellent project management and negotiation skills
  • Experience with performance-driven influencer campaigns and conversion tracking
  • Deep, current fluency in creator trends, platform mechanics, and emerging content formats
  • A hands-on operator mindset with the ability to personally source, brief, and manage creators on a day-to-day basis

Bonus points for:

  • Familiarity with compliance standards in financial promotions (e.g., NFA, CFTC, SEC, FTC, FINRA)
  • Experience in the futures industry or another investing category
  • Strong relationships with finance creators and YouTube/TikTok financial influencers
  • Background in affiliate marketing, partnerships, or user acquisition
