Job description

Job Description: Social Media Car Sales Creator

Position Title: Social Media Automotive Sales Creator
Location: Janssen Ford of York
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: Commission-Based (High Earning Potential)

Position Overview

Janssen Ford of York is seeking a motivated and creative Social Media Automotive Sales Creator to generate vehicle sales through social media platforms—primarily Facebook Marketplace and short-form video content.

This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable on camera or using an AI avatar, understands how to engage audiences online, and knows how to turn conversations into sales. No prior automotive sales experience is required. We provide full training on vehicles, pricing, and the sales process. Success in this role is driven by creativity, consistency, and communication skills—not dealership experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and publish engaging social media content to promote vehicle inventory

    • Facebook Marketplace listings

    • Facebook posts, Reels, and short-form videos

  • Film or use an AI avatar to create authentic vehicle walkarounds and value-based content

  • Respond promptly to inquiries through Messenger, text, and phone

  • Build rapport with online shoppers and guide them through the buying process

  • Learn and execute the dealership’s sales process from lead to delivery

  • Maintain an active and professional online presence representing the dealership

  • Collaborate with management to promote priority inventory and specials

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong social media communication skills, especially on Facebook

  • Comfortable appearing on video and speaking to an audience

  • Ability to engage, influence, and build trust with online shoppers

  • Self-motivated and consistent with content creation

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Willingness to learn automotive products and sales procedures

  • Professional, positive, and coachable attitude

Experience Requirements
  • No automotive sales experience required

  • Experience with social media content creation or online selling is strongly preferred

  • Sales, customer service, or influencer-style experience is a plus

What We Provide
  • Full training on automotive sales, inventory, and systems

  • Commission-based compensation with uncapped earning potential

  • Established inventory and dealership support

  • Freedom to create content in your own voice (within brand guidelines)

  • A modern sales environment that values creativity and initiative

  • Opportunity to grow a personal brand while building a long-term career

Why This Role Is Different

This is not a traditional car sales position.
It is a social-first sales role designed for how customers actually shop today—online, on social media, and through video.

If you are confident on camera, enjoy connecting with people, and want to turn social media into income, this role offers a unique opportunity to do exactly that.
