Full-time

Job description

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don't just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset - who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
This position requires a hybrid work schedule with regular in-person attendance at our Menlo Park office.
We are seeking a Creative Technologist, Brand AI to help redefine how artificial intelligence supports brand and creative work at Snowflake across design, content, video, customer marketing and web.
You are a multidisciplinary creative technologist who combines strong creative judgment, systems thinking, and hands-on technical ability. You understand how designers, writers, strategists, producers, and marketers work, and you can translate emerging AI capabilities into practical tools that improve work quality, consistency, and speed.
Equal parts builder, strategist, and facilitator, you will partner across Brand Marketing to experiment rapidly, build custom solutions, and help teams incorporate AI into their daily workflows. This role sits at the intersection of creative technology, brand systems, AI innovation, and workflow design, reporting to the Director of Brand Strategy and AI Innovation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Explore and Prototype New Creative Possibilities
  • Partner with designers, writers, producers, strategists, and marketers to identify where AI can meaningfully improve creative quality, consistency, speed, or scale.
  • Turn emerging AI capabilities into tangible prototypes, tools, and experiences that creative teams can evaluate and use.
  • Rapidly experiment with generative AI across visual design, writing, web, motion, video, brand management, and content-production workflows.
  • Bring a strong creative and strategic point of view to where AI adds genuine value and where human craft, judgment, and originality should remain central.
  • Create demonstrations and proof-of-concept experiences that help teams understand what new technologies make possible.
Build Useful Tools and Connected Workflows
  • Design and build a growing collection of AI-enabled tools, utilities, templates, and workflows that address real needs across the Brand Marketing organization.
  • Connect creative platforms, content systems, AI models, and internal data using the right combination of prototyping tools, APIs, automation platforms, low-code solutions, and custom code.
  • Design solutions around the complete creative workflow, not just an isolated task, accounting for the people, systems, inputs, approvals, and downstream uses involved.
  • Take promising prototypes from concept to reliable internal adoption, partnering with engineering, IT, security, legal, and platform teams when solutions require production-grade support.
  • Iterate based on feedback, observed usage, creative quality, and measurable improvements to the team's work.
Partner With and Enable Creative Teams
  • Serve as a hands-on creative technology partner across Brand Marketing, developing a deep understanding of how each team works and where shared solutions could have broader value.
  • Facilitate workshops, working sessions, demonstrations, and onboarding that help teams confidently incorporate AI into their creative practices.
  • Create accessible resources such as playbooks, examples, templates, prompt patterns, and workflow documentation.
  • Translate technical concepts into language that creative and marketing teams can understand and act on.
  • Build trust and adoption by involving end users throughout the discovery, prototyping, and iteration process.
Evolve Brand Systems for an AI-Enabled World
  • Help define how Snowflake's voice, visual identity, design principles, and brand standards should be represented in AI-enabled tools and workflows.
  • Develop practical methods for evaluating the quality, originality, consistency, and brand alignment of AI-assisted work.
  • Establish reusable patterns, guidance, and guardrails that help teams experiment responsibly without limiting creative exploration.
  • Partner with brand, legal, privacy, security, and responsible-AI stakeholders to address risk and appropriate use.
  • Identify gaps, patterns, and opportunities across teams, and provide leadership with a clear view of what is working and where to invest next.
Stay Connected to the Creative Technology Landscape
  • Evaluate emerging models, platforms, interfaces, and creative tools for their relevance to brand and marketing work.
  • Maintain an active practice of experimentation and prototyping rather than relying only on vendor demonstrations or industry trends.
  • Share useful discoveries with the broader organization and help Snowflake develop an informed perspective on the future of AI-enabled creative work.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • 7+ years of experience in creative technology, design technology, digital experience, creative innovation, prototyping, design systems, or a related multidisciplinary field.
  • A portfolio or case studies demonstrating how you have used technology to solve creative, brand, design, content, or marketing problems.
  • Demonstrated experience applying generative AI to real creative or marketing workflows. We care more about the usefulness, quality, and adoption of your work than a specific number of years with any particular model or platform.
  • Strong creative and design foundations, including an understanding of brand systems, visual and verbal identity, user experience, creative production, and the intent behind creative decisions.
  • Hands-on ability to make ideas tangible through prototypes, interactive experiences, workflow automation, or lightweight internal tools.
  • Comfort working with AI models, prompting techniques, APIs, structured data, and prototyping or automation platforms. You do not need to be a traditional software engineer, but you should be able to independently build and test functional ideas.
  • Experience connecting tools and systems through low-code platforms, custom scripting, APIs, or similar methods.
  • A systems-oriented approach: you consider the broader workflow, stakeholders, governance requirements, and long-term usability of what you create.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills across creative, marketing, technical, and executive audiences.
  • The ability to navigate ambiguity, identify the most valuable problems to solve, and move quickly from exploration to a working solution.
  • A collaborative, low-ego approach and genuine enthusiasm for helping other people develop new capabilities.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EDUCATION
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Design, Creative Technology, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Experience working within an in-house creative organization, design studio, innovation team, digital agency, production company, or similarly multidisciplinary environment.
  • Familiarity with workflows spanning graphic design, web, content, motion, video, events, campaigns, or creative operations.
  • Experience with tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, generative image or video platforms, collaborative prototyping tools, automation platforms, or lightweight application frameworks.
  • Experience helping a prototype become a sustained internal product or adopted organizational practice.
  • Familiarity with responsible-AI practices, content provenance, rights management, privacy, security, and brand governance.
  • Experience collaborating with software engineering or platform teams to productionize a creative technology prototype.
LET'S DO THIS!
