The Organic Social Content Coordinator is a hybrid role between an Organic Social Media Coordinator and a Content Creator. This role will work closely with the Organic Social Account Supervisor in implementing social media marketing strategies for our wide range of clients to meet their unique objectives. They will develop monthly content calendars for the agency and clients and ensure that both the creative and copy is engaging, accessible to the readers and aligned with each client's respective brand and audience. They will create content to use on social media for the agency and clients, from graphics to short-form video, gifs and more. Additionally, this individual will help grow and maintain active communities on all social platforms through proactive reputation management.


Skills and Experience

  • Experience with video production, photography, and post-production processes, including editing and retouching
  • Strong design skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, XD, Premiere Pro)
  • Knowledge of general best practices and differences between print and digital media
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with emerging design trends and industry developments
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate and present creative ideas and concepts internally
  • Ability to work in a productivity-focused and deadline-driven environment 
  • Efficient time management skills 
  • A self-starter personality with attention to detail, natural inquisitiveness, and high comfort level with asking questions     
  • Proactively identifies new opportunities on social channels and keeps up with emerging trends and culture
  • Working on design-focused projects, creating a range of cross-platform design work that meets client requirements and brand standards
  • Collaborating with other teams to deliver high-quality creative work, including copywriters, media planners, and digital specialists

Responsibilities:

  • Delegate tasks as needed to team members best suited 
  • Raise up the people around you and find ways to curate creativity from them
  • Make space to create foolproof strategies and jump on trending/relevant content quickly 
  • Lead a social video shoot on your own 
  • Attend social conference or event to gain more insight into social-specific trends in different industries
  • Architecting a social department consisting of a high-level strategist, copywriter, designer and a video editor
  • Tackle outside conversations as appropriate and bring them up to the team if needed
  • Have leadership "thick skin" and approach tough conversations with honesty and constructive feedback
