Remote Video Tagging information

What is remote video tagging?

Remote video tagging is the process of analyzing and labeling video content from a remote location, often for purposes such as content moderation, data annotation for machine learning, or enhancing searchability. Individuals working in remote video tagging watch videos and assign tags or metadata based on what they see, such as identifying objects, actions, scenes, or specific events. This work supports industries like media, advertising, research, and artificial intelligence by making video content more accessible and usable. The job is typically performed using specialized software and requires attention to detail and clear communication skills.

What skills and qualifications are needed for remote video tagging?

To excel as a Remote Video Tagging Specialist, you need strong attention to detail, familiarity with video content, and a basic understanding of metadata and tagging conventions, often supported by a high school diploma or relevant experience. Proficiency in video editing or tagging software, content management systems, and sometimes basic spreadsheet tools is typically required. Excellent organizational skills, time management, and the ability to work independently are crucial soft skills for success in this role. These skills ensure accurate, consistent video categorization and efficient workflow, which are vital for content discoverability and operational effectiveness.

What are common challenges in remote video tagging and how can they be managed?

One of the main challenges in remote video tagging is maintaining accuracy and consistency when labeling large volumes of video content. Distractions at home, ambiguous footage, or unclear project guidelines can make this task more difficult. To manage these issues, it's important to establish a quiet workspace, clarify tagging criteria with supervisors, and use any provided tools or templates to ensure consistent work. Regular communication with team members or project leads can also help resolve uncertainties quickly and maintain high-quality results.

Job description

Are you a creative, data-driven marketer who loves turning content and ad spend into measurable growth? Our busy Phoenix personal injury firm is looking for a Digital Marketing & Content Specialist to own projects from concept through completion. You will plan and optimize campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google, YouTube, and streaming TV while also scripting, shooting, editing, and publishing high-quality video and social content.

You will manage budgets, report results to leadership, and track which channels drive signed cases, not just clicks. You will also use AI tools to improve productivity, creative output, and campaign performance without sacrificing quality. Ideal candidates are hands-on, accountable, and comfortable owning both the creative and analytical sides of marketing. Former agency experience is a plus. If you love creating, testing, and scaling what works, please apply today!

Please note: This is a full-time, in-office W-2 position at our Phoenix office. Remote and hybrid work are not available. Marketing agencies, consultants, and outside vendors should not apply or pitch their services.

Compensation:

$70,000 - $85,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Plan, launch, and optimize paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok, Google Search, and YouTube to generate qualified leads and signed cases

  • Launch and scale our OTT/CTV streaming television advertising program from the ground up

  • Own campaign budgets and optimize spending toward cost per qualified lead and cost per signed case, not vanity metrics

  • Build and maintain full-funnel lead attribution using call tracking, UTM tagging, and CRM source data, partnering with our intake team to trace signed cases to their marketing sources

  • Deliver weekly performance reports to firm leadership with clear insights, trends, and recommendations

  • Own the firm’s social media and content process from start to finish, including strategy, planning, scripting, shooting video, editing, publishing, and repurposing content across platforms

  • Continuously test creative, audiences, offers, and landing pages, using performance data and AI tools to improve productivity, lower acquisition costs, and scale what works without sacrificing quality

Qualifications:
  • 2 to 3 years of hands-on paid media experience across Meta, TikTok, Google Search, and YouTube, with a proven record of generating measurable results

  • A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to plan, shoot, and edit high-quality short-form and long-form video content

  • Proficiency with professional video equipment, lighting, audio, and editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve

  • Strong command of Google Analytics 4, conversion tracking, call tracking, UTM tagging, lead attribution, and performance reporting

  • Experience managing social media for a brand or business, including strategy, content creation, publishing, and performance analysis

  • Experience using AI tools to improve research, ideation, content production, campaign testing, workflows, and reporting without sacrificing accuracy or quality

  • A self-starter with strong organizational skills who can manage projects from concept through completion and present recommendations to leadership; former agency and OTT/CTV experience are strong pluses
