We are looking for aNetwork Architectto interface with our team and our clients to help assess the performance of IT infrastructures, establish baselines, and identify opportunities for optimization/improvement. We are looking for a team member with the following skills:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- 5+ years of network engineering and network architectural design experience
- Expert level experience with Cisco, Juniper, and/or Arista
- Expert level experience with routing technologies (including OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, EVPN)
- Expert level experience with switching technologies (including STP, MLAG, VXLAN)
- Expert level experience with SD-WAN technologies
- Experience with Load Balancing or Application Delivery Services
- Experience with Enterprise Wireless solutions
- Experience with network and application performance solutions
- Experience working with or integrating various enterprise management systems
- Solid understanding of other networking technologies (including TCP/IP, IPv6, traffic analysis, TAPs, traffic brokers)
- Excellent understanding of technology concepts such as SDLC, systems engineering, IT performance management, IT operations, operational monitoring, security monitoring, and KPIs
- Knowledge of various IT infrastructure technologies (e.g. applications, servers, networks, storage)
- Experienced leader of highly complex projects as part of a larger team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including technical writing
If you have any of the following, it would be a bonus:
- Active US Secret or Top Secret clearance
- Strong programming skills in Python
- CCNA, CCIE, JNCIE and/or CCDA certifications
- Extensive experience in packet analysis (Wireshark)
- Familiarity with ITILv3 concepts especially Service Operations
