P&G Design is looking for a Design Producer to join our Beauty Care team.

As a P&G Creative Project Manager, you will be responsible for enabling design intent realization, ensuring technical fit-for-use, print feasibility, and quality execution on all print touchpoints for our brands. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of the end-to-end design process: from design concept through design production. A passion for brand equity, a strong understanding of design principles to achieve visual consistency, exceptional project management and experience with print production are all skills critical for this role.

What You'll Do:

You will be the graphic/2D design execution expert on multifunctional [internal & external] initiative teams, utilizing deep understanding of supply chain fit-for-use requirements, pre-press & printing, and print feasibility to ensure design intent realization. Responsible for executing with excellence.

Partner with pre-press separators, printers, and regional Design Delivery resources to assess print feasibility of design concepts, identify alternate solutions, plan & attend print trials, confirm final design intent print feasibility, ensure visual consistency delivered at shelf, and resolve quality issues

Plans and manages design execution work and critical path schedule, owns elevating issues, with implications, to key business partners, at-the-right-time, to enable informed decision-making and effective resolution, and drive on-time/on-quality Global Design Template, Design Intent/Implementation Guidelines, and print feasibility confirmation delivery to regions.

Manages projects within WebCenter, (a graphics lifecycle management tool). Provides low-level support regarding WebCenter to the multi-functional team.

Utilize & manage daily project tracker to capture due dates, priorities, time spent, project details, status, and provide weekly updates to Design [and key business partners identified by Design]

Independently and collaboratively brings innovative ideas/search & reapply learning that drive continual improvements in quality, productivity and efficiency. Proactively explores both cost savings and cost avoidance opportunities.

Job Qualifications

4-year degree in related field, ideally with minimum of 2 years of Design Production & Print experience (Design Firm, Printer, Production House preferred) or 4 years proven in-role experience in CPG industry and technical mastery.

Deep understanding of pre-press and printing industry standards, print production, print processes, and press capabilities, inks, materials/substrates, specialty inks/finishes, proofing, and print trials. Experience with color theory and color management. Understanding of spectral color data & digital proofing.

In depth understanding of the E2E packaging process [from design development through production], supply chain capabilities, fit for use considerations and requirements and how/where production/execution engages throughout process to ensure/enable print feasibility and design intent delivery.

Solid understanding of design, the design creative process, brand equity, design assets, brand identity systems, production guidelines, and the importance of visual consistency - in design intent & print quality.

Able to demonstrate leadership and strong collaboration skills with multifunctional teams and outside suppliers and be comfortable engaging with all management levels.

Strong business communication skills - verbal and written. Ability to effectively communicate and present information.

Disciplined with superior time and project management skills; possess the ability to set priorities, experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and is accountable.

Flexible in an environment of constant change. Able to engage and influence across functional partners.

Software fluency in the latest graphics and business programs: Adobe CS (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat) and Microsoft (Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
