The Associate Project Manager plays the key role of project manager and advisor in implementing new programs and expansions to existing programs across the entire O.C. Tanner solution set. The PM provides oversight over all aspects of the project, ensuring compliance and coordinating on-time delivery of solution components. This includes comprehensive management of scope and budget, resource requirements, project team roles and responsibilities, deliverable dependencies and the timeline's critical path.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Client Relationship - looking for strong individuals to work with our largest accounts

    • Understand Client specific objectives, requirements, and budgets

    • Facilitate decision making processes

    • Proactively communicate

    • Share and leverage research and industry trends

    • Confidently advise Clients (proven practices, program impact, project management, etc.)

    • Connect with key executives and stakeholders with assigned clients

    • Establish relationships based on respect and trust

    • Successfully introduce and facilitate transition to on-going account management teams

  • Project Management

    • Develop and oversee project scope, deliverables, and timeline

    • Define project tasks and resources requirements, assemble project team, schedule appropriate activities

    • Coordinate with the client and internal team members to ensure timely delivery of projects, make necessary adjustments when appropriate

    • Conduct regularly scheduled calls with the client to define program expectations and review project progress

    • Proactively communicate and manage critical path, concurrent events, and interruptions with impact

    • Plan for and mitigate risk, anticipate potential questions and roadblocks

    • Provide applicable documentation outlining the project scope, budget, solution specifications, project status, etc.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Project Management Certification and/or a bachelor's degree with project management and group facilitation work related experience (3+ years). Computer familiarity with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred.
