SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF WORK

The Graphic Design and Digital Platforms Coordinator is responsible for leading the planning, design, project management, and production of creative design including web and digital platforms that support the organization's mission, programs, marketing initiatives, fundraising, and community engagement efforts. This position combines expertise in graphic design, website content management and reporting, digital platform and creative project management, brand stewardship and production coordination.

Collaborating with community relations and HFS stakeholders, vendors, and community partners, this position manages multiple concurrent projects from concept through execution while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and consistent with organizational goals and established brand standards. The position requires creativity, initiative, exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational and project management skills, and the ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation: $45,000-$61,200 (determined by total years of relevant experience to be discussed upon interview)
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, marketing, communications, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years of professional experience in graphic design, marketing, communications, or a related creative field preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, website content (CMS), digital platforms, and print production.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, and common websites (i.e. Word Press), email marketing, and analytics platforms (i.e. Google).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to support agency events as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong graphic design, branding, typography, and visual communication skills.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of print production, website management, digital communications, accessibility, and marketing best practices.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead design, project management, and production of print and digital communications from concept through completion, ensuring projects are delivered accurately, on time, and consistent with organizational goals.
  • Design and produce a variety of marketing and communication materials, including publications, signage, presentations, digital graphics, email communications, website content, social media assets, and promotional materials.
  • Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously by establishing priorities, coordinating timelines using project management platform, collaborating with stakeholders, and maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's website, multimedia content, and analytics to support effective communication and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as the organization's brand steward by maintaining brand standards and ensuring consistency across all internal and external communications.
  • Coordinate print production and maintain relationships with vendors while managing inventories of printed materials, paper stock, promotional items, and digital assets.
  • Provide creative support for agency events, fundraising initiatives, community outreach, and special projects through the development of event materials, signage, displays, and presentations.
  • Serve as a communications resource to staff by providing creative consultation, project support, and technical assistance with communication and audio-visual resources.
  • Build collaborative relationships with staff, volunteers, vendors, and community partners while maintaining confidentiality and delivering excellent customer service.
  • Maintain regular attendance, participate in professional development, comply with agency policies and procedures, support organizational goals, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • *Create, maintain and share as appropriate a dynamic self-care plan.
  • * Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend-raising efforts.
