POSITION SUMMARY
The Creative Account Manager is a client-facing role responsible for owning the creative vision and proposal experience for assigned accounts. This position serves as a strategic partner to clients, translating business objectives into compelling, executable event concepts while guiding creative decisions and managing expectations. Working cross-functionally with sales, creative, and operations teams, the Creative Account Manager ensures continuity of vision from proposal through planning and positions events as a strategic business tool that delivers measurable value.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Serve as the primary creative point of contact for assigned clients, building trusted relationships and acting as a strategic partner throughout the proposal and planning process.
  • Lead the creative development of event programs from initial briefing through final proposal, ensuring concepts align with client objectives, brand, and business strategy.
  • Own the end-to-end proposal experience, overseeing the development of inspiration decks, creative narratives, and fully built proposals within Viper.
  • Guide clients through creative decisions, budgets, and program details with confidence, clarity, and a consultative approach.
  • Manage and interpret client feedback, translating revisions into thoughtful, strategic updates while balancing creativity, feasibility, and profitability.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, creative, and operations teams to ensure a seamless handoff from proposal to execution and continuity of client vision.
  • Lead vendor sourcing and pricing strategy in partnership with internal teams, leveraging vendor relationships to support creative direction and budget goals.
  • Provide ongoing creative oversight and client-facing support throughout the planning lifecycle to ensure the approved vision is maintained through execution.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to elevate client programs through innovative design, emerging trends, and enhanced attendee experience.

Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
  • 6+ years of proven experience in event planning, experiential marketing, or corporate events with a strong understanding of logistics, timelines, and feasibility.
  • Demonstrated success in a client-facing or account management role, with the ability to build credibility and rapport at senior and C-suite levels.
  • Strong creative instincts with an eye for design, storytelling, and brand-aligned experiences.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with confidence leading client conversations and presentations.
  • Advanced project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple client programs and proposals simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to guide clients toward solutions that balance creativity, business goals, and operational realities.
  • High degree of autonomy, professionalism, and sound judgment in managing client relationships and expectations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Adobe Suite, Canva, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
