What you'll be doing:

As the Senior Director, Content & Creative - Simplii Financial, you'll play a key leadership role in shaping the end-to-end creative execution for Simplii Financial's owned channels, including website, social media, email, as well as any paid media campaign adaptation or transcreation within our agile growth team. You'll guide a team of in-house creatives to deliver compelling, conversion-driven content that elevates our brand and engages our audiences. You'll collaborate closely with marketing and channel delivery teams to ensure alignment across business priorities. You'll lead ideation and creative direction for internal campaigns and digital assets, continually identifying opportunities to optimize content for conversion, accessibility, and brand consistency. You'll also foster a culture of innovation, learning, and collaboration, inspiring creative excellence and operational efficiency.

How you'll succeed

  • Creative leadership and content oversight - Lead and champion the creative vision for Simplii's owned channels, setting ambitious standards for content quality, brand consistency and the highest production quality. Apply creative design and content best practices to drive conversion and engagement across website, social, and email campaigns.

  • Content development - Identify, develop, and execute content that align with business priorities and maximize conversion. Guide creative producers in delivering impactful content for Simplii's owned channels, leveraging data-driven insights to refine messaging and design.

  • Team leadership and development - Manage a team of internal creative producers (copywriters, designers and video producers), setting clear context and development goals. Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.

  • Workflow and process optimization - Oversee the continuous improvement of creative workflows, resource allocation, and project delivery models. Implement best-in-class processes and technologies to scale creative output and elevate operational effectiveness

  • Championing accessibility, inclusion and brand compliance - Set the standard for accessible and inclusive content across all owned channels, ensuring compliance with WCAG, AODA, and ACA. Lead the adoption of emerging best practices, technologies, and testing methodologies to ensure content is accessible to all audiences.
