Job description

Job Overview: 

The Creative Production Coordinator supports North American Retail and Foodservice marketing initiatives by coordinating the planning, execution, and delivery of creative projects across multiple marketing channels. This role is responsible for keeping projects organized, timelines on track, and communication flowing between internal stakeholders, creative teams, and external partners. The Creative Production Coordinator manages project intake, schedules, approvals, asset organization, and production logistics to ensure high-quality creative deliverables are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. As a key member of the Creative & Integrated Marketing team, this role helps enable the delivery of best-in-class creative by supporting day-to-day production operations, maintaining project visibility, and fostering cross-functional alignment throughout the creative development process.

Essential Duties and responsibilities 

  • Coordinate creative projects from intake through final delivery, ensuring timelines, task lists, milestones, and deliverables remain on track.
  • Manage incoming creative requests, confirm briefs are complete, and organize project information, assets, and documentation for easy access.
  • Schedule and support creative kickoff meetings, status updates, reviews, approvals, and production milestones.
  • Monitor project progress, follow up on outstanding approvals, assets, and deliverables, and escalate risks, timeline impacts, or resource constraints as needed.
  • Route briefs, creative assets, and project documentation between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders across Marketing, Brand, Sales, Regulatory, Packaging, and related functions.
  • Organize, maintain, archive, and onboard creative assets within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system while tracking versions and final production specifications.
  • Coordinate creative production logistics, vendor communications, product samples, photography, video, packaging artwork, print production, digital campaigns, and other marketing collateral.
  • Prepare agendas, project notes, action items, status reports, invoices, production records, budget tracking, estimates, and process improvements to support team efficiency.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in creative project coordination, creative operations, marketing, or project management.
  • Experience coordinating multiple concurrent creative projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and external creative agencies.
  • Proficiency with project management software (Monday.com or similar platforms).
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Solid understanding of print production, packaging, prepress, and digital asset specifications.
  • Experience with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems is considered an asset.
  • Consumer packaged goods (CPG), retail, or agency experience preferred.
  • Highly collaborative and team oriented, supportive of new initiatives while engaging participation with others

Salary Transparency: High Liner Foods’ compensation offerings are founded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $55,000 - $60,000 the base pay is offered based on a variety of factors including geographical market location, and may vary depending on job grading practices, job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity factors. As part of our total rewards offering, employees may be eligible to participate in an annual short-term incentive program [and long-term incentive program] (for Dir+) subject to program eligibility requirements.
