Job description

US Lumber, an SBP Brand, is currently looking for a Working Production Supervisor to join our team to oversee our production operations. You’ll guarantee that manufacturing remains a smooth and efficient process by monitoring employees and organizing workflows. Many of this position's responsibilities will be done in an outdoor environment. This is a first shift position, M-F 6:30am to 3:30pm.

In this role you will focus on:

Responsibilities:

  • Working Supervisor position.
  • Provide strong leadership and direction for a wood processing production team
  • Be held accountable to attain daily production goals, manufacturing efficiencies and product quality. Organize machinery placement to maximize production flow
  • Manage inventory usage and waste. Be creative in utilizing all the material
  • Be responsible for employee safety and direct a strong focus in maintaining a safe, clean & organized work environment
  • Handle multiple projects and see projects through to a successful conclusion

Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years in Manufacturing Environment
  • Basic Math and Analytical Skills
  • Forklift Experience
  • Must be willing to work in and tolerate outdoor environments in all seasons of the year.
