Job Summary:

The Coordinator, Creative Communications will implement, create and enforce brand standards, process and organizational design assets. Translates client needs and branding strategies into design creative strategies. Designs and creates a variety of materials creative products including video, logos, print and electronic media including websites, magazines, brochures, user interfaces, product labels, reports and advertisements. Works with the team to incorporate typesetting, illustration, photography, video and programming, to ensure products display as intended. In this position, the Coordinator reports to the Creative Communications Manager, and works closely with system leadership. In addition, they will work closely with department colleagues, administrators, leaders and other professionals across St. Elizabeth. This person will help maximize creative content to help drive marketing and communications, service line and overall system business objectives.

This role may have a primary area of focus in either graphic design or multimedia content creation (including video capture and editing), based on team needs and individual expertise.

Job Description:

  • Collaborates with associates systemwide to concept, create and produce content that is aligned to organizational goals.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering information and materials.
  • Obtains approvals of concepts.
  • Keeps internal clients informed of production progress and status.
  • Prepares final versions. Completes projects by coordinating with outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.
  • Identifies and coordinate additional services for projects, such as writing and photography, and outsourcing as necessary.
  • Participates in collaborative creative concepting for a variety of projects, contributing ideas that support strategic objectives and effective visual storytelling.
  • Acts as Visual Identity expert providing conceptual creative direction and brand management.
  • Initiates creative assets and standard templates for the organization.
  • Manages and retains relationships with outside vendors to assist with the production of print, digital and video projects. Vendors include, but are not limited to printers, graphic designers, photographers, videographers and event planners.
  • Manages in-house production.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. Assumes responsibility for special assignments, particularly during crisis and special events.
