What You'll Do

  • Execute the creative vision of LH Kids in partnership with the Children's Ministry Team 
  • Build, lead, and multiply a high-capacity volunteer team across storytelling, worship, production, and creative environments
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and coach leaders-establishing a strong, sustainable volunteer pipeline
  • Equip coaches to effectively develop and lead their own teams
  • Oversee all large group environments (preschool and elementary), ensuring excellence in production, teaching, worship, and execution
  • Lead the LH Kids worship ministry, including song selection, team development, and alignment with series content
  • Direct the student-led praise team, including leadership development, rehearsals, and parent communication
  • Create original content (weekly scripts, songs, and creative elements) to enhance the LH Kids experience
  • Oversee creative systems, including resource management (props, costumes, decor), video requests, and budget stewardship
  • Partner with the LH Creative Team and Kids staff to align vision, strategy, and execution
  • Develop digital content and parent resources that extend ministry beyond the weekend


Skills Needed to Succeed

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in kids ministry, creative ministry, or a related field
  • Solid theological understanding of how to teach and apply the Word of God to children from age 3-5th grade and various ability levels 
  • Solid understanding of child development and engaging, age-appropriate environments 
  • Proven ability to develop people: Must be a relational leader with a passion to recruit, train, and develop high-capacity leaders and coaches 
  • Flexible: Must be agile and thrive under pressure with a rigorous writing schedule
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Creative expertise (music, theater, production, or design) with the ability to execute ideas
  • Strategic thinker who can also operate at a high level of detail
  • Excellent in ProPresenter, Planning Center, Canva, Rock, and standard digital tools
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and solve problems under pressure
