Digital Signage | A/V Installation | Construction

About the Position

We are looking for an A/V Project Manager who has experience in the A/V installation, Digital Signage, or construction industries who can manage multiple digital solution installations for our clients. The A/V Project Manager is the primary project management lead who is accountable for running multiple AV Install projects through both Installation Planning and Execution phases, creating a predictable experience for both employees and clients alike. This position will a part of a rollout of several projects with similar scopes of work. You will work closely with a Program Manager who is running this business vertical to forecast and plan installations for each customer assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for planning, facilitating, and administering the installation projects assigned to them.
  • Coordinate internal resources and installation sub-contractors to ensure that all elements of the overall solution are properly and effectively deployed.
  • Will serve as first level of technical escalation for installation issues for assigned program team.
  • Assisting install managers with more complex installations.
  • Identify, assess and communicate with all stakeholders
  • Manage the triple constraints on any given project: Schedule, Cost and Quality
  • Manage overall project timelines and milestones by working with cross functional team, while considering budget, schedule and quality of the project
  • Assume full ownership for the project and escalate to senior management as needed to ensure company and client goals are met
  • Manage/initiate all project billing per the SOW
  • Participate in weekly project reviews with internal teams and clients as required
  • Ensure client and internal milestones are met and appropriate approvals are obtained and documented
  • Travel up to 30%

Administration:

  • Collect and maintain all required project artifacts
  • Work with Account Managers to create change orders as required
  • Manage/initiate all project billing per the SOW
  • Provide timely and professional client service to ensure client’s expectations and needs are met
  • Ensure client and internal milestones are met and appropriate approvals are obtained and documented
  • Review Budget vs. Actuals on all projects weekly to ensure we are within scope
  • Provide Weekly update to management on install success/fail metrics

Education and Experience

  • 7+ years installation project related experience
  • Knowledge of digital signage, commercial display solutions, and/or interactive kiosk industries preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • AVIXA CTS and/or Digital Signage Federation certification desired
  • Experienced user of software CRM tools. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical buyers
