Citizens Enterprise Sponsorship, Experiential & Corporate Events Marketing Team is seeking a dynamic and strategic Events Governance & Operations Partner to support an enterprise-wide transition to a centralized experiential events operating model. This role is instrumental in shaping and executing operational excellence in governance, operational rigor and scalable processes across the Bank. The role partners closely with Marketing and business line leaders to enable effective intake, prioritization, execution, measurement, and reporting-reinforcing a OneCitizens, customer-centric approach and ensuring enterprise transparency and accountability. This position is ideal for an analytically strong operator who excels at building structure, improving processes, and enabling teams to work efficiently at scale.

Key Responsibilities

Governance & Compliance Management

  • Support enterprise experiential governance forums by managing intake tracking, agendas, materials, and action followthrough
  • Maintain digital centralized calendars, demand views, and prioritization frameworks across business lines and regions to ensure visibility and alignment
  • Ensure requests meet governance standards, eligibility criteria, and required approval workflows
  • Drive consistency, transparency, and documentation across experiential decisions
  • Evaluate new experiential requests using established criteria (e.g., scope, audience, timing, and investment considerations) and surface recommendations for review

Marketing Operations, Process and Budget Management

  • Own daytoday operational workflows supporting centralized planning, approvals, and execution
  • Maintain and evolve core operating documentation (playbooks, toolkits, intake forms, FAQs)
  • Support centralized budget tracking, forecasting, and spend transparency across LOBs
  • Maintain visibility into contracts, agencies, and experiential-related spend
  • Partner with Sourcing contract with vendors, set up POs and process invoices 

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of experience in marketing operations, governance, program management, or analytical operations roles
  • Strong experience working in complex, matrixed organizations
  • Proven ability to manage processes, workflows, and operational detail at scale
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and executivelevel communication skills
  • Understanding of banking or financial services industry
  • Experience with supporting sponsorships, experiential and events is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Willingness to travel (~10%) and work non-traditional hours as needed.

Hours & Work Schedule

Hours per Week: 40 Hours

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday in office 4 days 1 day from home.

Pay Transparency 

The salary range for this position is $115000-$174,000 per year, plus an opportunity to earn an annual discretionary bonus. Actual pay is based on various factors including but not limited to the work location, budget,relevant skills and experience.
