About The Job

The Senior Manager, Integrated Communications Planning is a strategic engine behind breakthrough marketing at Danone Canada, partnering closely with Brand and Media/Digital teams to bring bold ideas to life.

As the owner of creative strategy and integrated communications planning, this role leads the end-to-end development and execution of annual plans across the portfolio. Acting as a key connector across internal teams and agency partners, this individual shapes how our brands show up, ensuring every touchpoint is impactful, culturally relevant, and consumer first.

From creative brief to content production, this role drives the full ecosystem, spanning influencer strategy, content strategy, and opportunities to insert our brands meaningfully into culture.

Working hand-in-hand with Brand and Media teams, this leader defines success metrics, optimizes performance, and translates insights into action, while championing strong brand fundamentals in every execution.

Beyond strategy, this role is instrumental in elevating how we work, building clear, scalable processes that enable teams to deliver game-changing, business-driving campaigns.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, culturally connected marketer with deep expertise across channels and a strong instinct for creative excellence. This position is hybrid and can be based in either Montréal or Toronto.

Scope of Responsibility

  • Owns annual, quarterly, and monthly communications planning, leading the development and execution of integrated marketing plans across the portfolio with a focus on creative strategy and content production
  • Drives a holistic, ecosystem-wide content approach, partnering with brand and agency stakeholders while maintaining deep expertise across channels (media, PR, digital, social, influencer, sponsorships, activation, and cultural engagement) 
  • Proven ability to align business objectives with creative vision, while effectively influencing and mobilising internal leadership stakeholders
  • Ability to lead, manage, and develop a team as a people manager
  • Leads cross-functional integration on key initiatives (campaign extensions, multicultural marketing, partnerships) and contributes to ongoing business reviews with senior leadership
  • Manages external agency relationships end-to-end (SOWs, performance reviews, and day-to-day operations) while maintaining strong product and business knowledge across brands
  • Establishes and tracks KPIs, delivering quarterly performance reporting while continuously identifying opportunities to enhance creative impact, engagement, and brand growth 

The annual base salary range for this position is $95,000.00 to $135,000.00 CAD. The final salary offered will be determined by factors such as relevant experience and qualifications, internal equity and external market conditions.

About You
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 5–7 years in creative strategy, integrated planning, content production, or brand/communications (agency or client-side)
  • Strong creative judgment with a sharp eye for aesthetics, attention to detail, storytelling, and brand building 
  • Strong grounding in consumer-centric marketing strategy and frameworks
  • Experience developing content and translating both qualitative and quantitative insights into performance optimization
  • Proven ability to collaborate and influence within a cross-functional, matrixed organization

Champ de responsabilités 

  • Dirige la planification des communications annuelles, trimestrielles et mensuelles, ainsi que le développement et l’exécution de plans marketing intégrés annuels pour les diverses marques chez Danone, avec un accent sur la stratégie créative et la production de contenu

  • Pilote l’intégration interfonctionnelle des initiatives clés (extensions de campagnes, marketing multiculturel, partenariats) et contribue aux revues d’affaires avec la haute direction

  • Baccalauréat ou expérience équivalente
