Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform orientations and update records of new and current staff.
  • Must be able to create schedules for all areas of the nursing department
  • Must be able to work in collaboration with the entire nursing team
  • Must be able to fill open positions on the schedule with current staff through creative methods

Requirements:
  • Experience in a Nursing Home or Health field experience preferred.
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
  • Effective people management skills.
  • Good understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, and related business and communication tools.
  • Must be detail oriented and have excellent communication skills
  • Recent experience as a Staffing Coordinator in a skilled nursing facility preferred
