Description
The Marketing Graphic Designer serves as the firm's primary in-house creative resource, supporting branding, marketing communications, digital content and visual initiatives. In addition to graphic design responsibilities, this position supports the firm's marketing efforts through social media management, website administration, digital content development, and video production. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across a variety of creative and marketing initiatives, making it ideal for a design professional who enjoys both visual design and broader marketing involvement. The successful candidate for this position is a self-starter who understands the value of great ideas and possesses the skills to bring those ideas to life. This is a mid-level position and reports to the Director of Marketing.
Responsibilities
  • Conceptualize and design a wide range of marketing materials such as brochures, ads, presentation documents and graphics, for print and digital from concept to completion at the direction of the Marketing Director.
  • Develop content for firm social media channels and assist with content planning and scheduling.
  • Collaborate with marketing team members and firm leadership to develop concepts, creative direction, and marketing deliverables that support strategic objectives.
  • Manage firm digital assets including photos and collateral.
  • Maintain and update website content through WordPress CMS, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with brand standards.
  • Plan, produce, edit, and manage video content for marketing, recruiting, project promotion, and corporate communications.
  • Uphold company brand standards.
  • Coordinate firm participation in conference and trade shows.
  • Manage award submissions in collaboration with technical staff.
  • Manage coordination of professional photography including completed projects, and employee headshots.
  • Engage in continuing education and training to keep up on latest trends and best practices in graphic design and social media.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge of marketing communications, branding, advertising, and content marketing principles.
  • Knowledge of graphic design fundamentals, including typography, color theory, composition, and layout.
  • Knowledge of print production processes and digital media standards.
  • Knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and performance analytics.
  • Knowledge of website content management systems, preferably WordPress
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience with Premiere Pro and After Effects preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and presentation design.
  • Skilled in video production, editing, and basic animation.
  • Strong visual design and concept development skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related field; equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • 4-7 years professional experience in graphic design, marketing design, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications through work experience and portfolio.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating print, digital, and multimedia capabilities.
  • Experience managing website content using a content management system; WordPress experience preferred.

Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
