Job description

JOB SUMMARY:
This Facilities Manager position is responsible for the care and upkeep of all buildings and grounds at our broadcast campus location and supervises maintenance, events, administration, housekeeping porters and grounds teams. The Facilities Manager acts as the hands-on representative of the Campus Facilities team while supporting the ministries.
JOB DUTIES:
  • Leads, trains, supports, and develops Facilities Staff and Volunteer Team.
  • Serves as a key player responsible for executing the overall tasks
  • Communicates and coordinates well with staff of Ministries & Departments as well as contractors and vendors
  • Responds to service and maintenance requests using the provided Work Order program
  • Safely operates vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Oversees all custodial, grounds, security, mechanical, and facility needs
  • Continually inspects and is aware of conditions of all buildings
  • Maintains order and safety for all working areas
  • Completes special projects as assigned by Campus Pastor and Central Director of Facilities
  • Supports and enforces all policies of Christ Fellowship such as OSHA rules, church health, and safety regulations and guidelines
  • Manages the campus Facilities Budget
  • Offers strategic and creative problem-solving methods
  • Assists with response to all emergencies and alarm calls
  • Logistically supports the campus and church-wide events (i.e., DIESEL, Sisterhood, Easter/Christmas, CF Conference)
  • Commits to a life that reflects the Christ Fellowship Core Values

Building Specs:
Property Size: 50+ acres
Key Spaces: 5 main buildings, 5 auxiliary buildings
Building Systems: HVAC, lighting, Fire & Life Safety, Irrigation, and access control managed through digital systems
Weekly Use: 6 days/week for worship services, midweek ministries, and special events
