Job description

POSITION: Director, Creative
COMPENSATION: Pursuant to Colorado regulations, if this job is performed in Colorado, the salary range is $91,700-$125,000 plus bonus. Eligible to participate in the company benefits plan. We offer health, vision, dental, and pet insurance. We offer a 401(k) retirement plan, student loan assistance, licensing and continuing education reimbursement, and parental leave.
SUMMARY
Do you have the talent and passion to solve big challenges with smart solutions? Do you enjoy being on the front lines working with clients? Do you look forward to collaborating with Graphic Designers, Writers, and Developers to bring creative ideas to life? Then we might be looking for you.
You're both a doer and a leader, ready for a big chunk of roll-up-your-sleeves, make-stuff-happen-now work, but also eager to play a large role in influencing the overall direction of the creative department.
THE POSITION:
  • Collaboratively establish the creative vision and strategy with clients from concept to finish.
  • Responsible for delivering creative assets on time, on brand, and to client standards.
  • Oversee, and inspire graphic designers to push creative boundaries and deliver inspiring work.
  • Able to collaboratively build upon the vision and ideas of others to create something bigger.
  • Lead multiple projects; oversee planning, concept development, design and implementation; assign tasks and monitor progress.
  • Understand and work within project parameters: client goals and requirements, internal goals, user experience, technical constraints, as well as budget and schedule.
  • Sell creative ideas to clients. Actively participating in new business pursuits, proposal development, and project initiation.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven ability to mentor and develop skills in other team members.
  • Strong knowledge of design process and project management.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in small and large groups at all levels.
  • Prior creative agency experience.
  • Experience in leading creative projects including research, analysis, ideation, concept incubation, defining brand standards and best practices, as well as facilitating brand launches.
  • Creative, curious, optimistic, and entrepreneurial.
  • Wants to solve hard problems and make an impact.
  • Will cultivate a work environment that's respectful and fun.
  • Demonstrates strong relationship management skills, both external and internal.
  • Ideal candidates will have excellent leadership, communication, and management skills.
