The Digital Tech & Creative Asset Specialist is a hands-on specialist role supporting the execution, capture, organization, and long-term stewardship of Peter Millar's photography and video assets. This role sits at the intersection of production, post-production, and asset management-ensuring our creative work is captured accurately, processed efficiently, and archived with consistency and care.
Working closely with photographers, producers, designers, and post-production partners, this role is essential to maintaining creative excellence, technical precision, and operational efficiency across studio and on-location shoots.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Digital Tech & Capture Support
  • Serve as on-set digital technician for photo shoots, supporting tethered capture, file integrity, color accuracy, and image organization

  • Able to manage multiple sets at the same time within a Studio environment
  • Partner closely with photographers to maintain technical standards and shooting efficiency
  • Ensure proper file naming, folder structures, and version control during capture and post
  • Manage camera-to-workstation workflows, including Capture One setup, live review sessions, and basic color handling

Creative Asset Management
  • Own the organization, tagging, and maintenance of digital photo and video assets within the DAM and onsite storage systems

  • Maintain consistency and best practices for file structures, naming conventions, and long-term storage
  • Support asset intake, delivery, and retrieval for creative, marketing, and cross-functional teams
  • Ensure assets are archived accurately with correct metadata, usage rights, and seasonal taxonomy

Post-Production & Workflow Support
  • Assist with post-production handoff, selects, retouching workflows, and delivery timelines

  • Help document and refine studio workflows and technical processes
  • Track asset status from capture through final delivery
  • Coordinate with retouchers, editors, and internal partners to ensure assets meet brand standards

Studio & Production Support
  • Prepare equipment, workstations, and storage systems for studio and location shoots

  • Support shoot days with troubleshooting, technical problem-solving, and workflow optimization
  • Assist with studio organization, digital maintenance, and production readiness

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in a digital tech, studio production, or creative asset management role

  • Passion for craftsmanship, imagery, and creative excellence
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills and comfort working in a fast-paced creative environment
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Familiarity with DAM systems and metadata best practices
  • Strong working knowledge of Capture One, Adobe Creative Suite, and professional photography workflows

Preferred Experiences
  • Experience supporting fashion, lifestyle, or e-commerce photography
  • Understanding of color workflows and file delivery standards
  • Experience working on set in a studio or on location
