Job description

Tombras, a 600+ person, full-service, national advertising agency with a digital mindset, is seeking a n Associate Creative Director, Copy for our Creative Department.

You’ll be joining one of the top independent agencies in North America.Connecting Data & Creativity for Business Results® is working for our clients and creating a flywheel affect fueling both client and agency growth. You’ll be a part of a highly creative agency that has been recognized by AdAge, Adweek, Communication Arts, Fast Company, Forbes and Fortune. Where you'll be working: Knoxville, TN. Relocation assistance may be provided.

What you'll be doing:

  • Work closely with the CCO, Executive Creative Director and Creative Directors to implement the vision and direction for the client and team
  • Partner with an Art Director to come up with killer TV, social and digital campaigns
  • Lead and direct cross-disciplinary development and execution of short-term (project specific) and long-term (account specific) creative strategies
  • Coordinate with creative director and resource manager in projections for, and assignment of, creative discipline group members to client projects
  • Work on everything from high-level brand concepting and ideation to daily execution on client deliverables
  • Direct and guide art directors and writers in the creation of advertising
  • Delivers internal presentations to senior creative personnel and/or clients

  • A strong diverse portfolio with produced work in TV, social and digital campaigns
  • Team management and client facing experience
  • Confidence to fight for your ideas, and the humility to not hold them precious
  • Ability to direct and enhance the efforts of a creative team
  • Ability to find new entry points when the brainstorming hits a wall
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships, internally and with clients
  • Ability to apply conceptual strategy, brainstorm facilitation, day-to-day directing of a project to completion
  • Independent spirit, entrepreneurial attitude, and a drive for innovation.
  • Excellent presentation skills
