We are looking for a proactive self-starter who is organized, curious, able to navigate conflict, a strong communicator and connector who can manage multiple creative projects at a single time within a fast-paced organization. The right candidate must be passionate about process, meeting deadlines, driving results and being a team player. They are responsible for assuring the creative team has what they need to grow and improve the Shaw Contract brand. This position is hybrid and will work from our commercial marketing campus full-time in Cartersville, GA.

The Project Manager's primary responsibility is to manage the workflow for all internal creative projects. This position will work closely with the Creative Director, Associate Creative Director, Designers and Marketing team to ensure projects maintain their critical path and that all deliverable deadlines are met on time. Success is measured by meeting timelines and coordinating resources. At the end of the day, you are responsible for keeping things moving. Be an octopus. Eight arms, three hearts & nine brains. Able to navigate the depths of the sea using your flexibility superpower. Octopuses are quite intelligent and have been observed using tools.

Essential Project Management Toolkit

With the support of the creative team and marketing team as the Project Manager you will connect the pieces and parts of all projects, not through execution but rather through hunting and gathering to set the creative team up for success. Highly adaptable in forms of communication and task conflict, and not easily deterred. Manage workflows, schedules, and traffic of projects from concept to completion to ensure timelines, scope and budgets are met. Gather project requirements define tasks establish project plan/schedule confirm cost structures allocate resources in Workfront oversee execution of the project manage internal traffic systems route work for review and approval assist in archiving files/assets Knowledge of project management software (Workfront preferred). Provide regular and necessary updates on project timing and development to stakeholders, both written and verbal. Monitor designers’ workload to ensure timely completion and continued productivity. Hold status meetings with creative team to answer questions, align on priorities and help as needed to remove barriers. Provide team members with all necessary specifications and assets to execute requests efficiently and effectively. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management workflows. Assist in maintaining marketing roadmap by partnering with teammates to determine priorities, outline and execute their creative needs and identify new opportunities.
