BUSINESS UNIT

Ziegler Senior Housing and Care Finance Practice (“SHCFP”) is focused on delivering sell-side M&A solutions as well as the entire capital stack of financing options to senior housing and care organizations across the country. Ziegler is one of the most active firms offering innovative sell-side, recapitalization/restructuring, and agency and debt placement products to achieve our client’s objectives.


POSITION OVERVIEW

Ziegler is seeking a well-established Managing Director/Director with relevant relationships with for-profit senior housing (IL/AL/MC) and skilled nursing owner/operators to join the SHCFP team. The ideal candidate for this position will have significant experience with senior housing M&A and financing transactions. The individual we seek has significant relationships with large and middle market senior housing and care providers with experience leading M&A and/or financing activities. The firm is open to where this position will be located.


This banker will be responsible for:

  • Driving new client business development in areas of his or her expertise and within the geographic area as well as providing leverage for other members of the team. Successful senior investment bankers at Ziegler target a minimum of $2-4+ million in annual revenues;
  • Managing resources efficiently and effectively to adjust to changes in the marketplace;
  • Acting as the business’ advocate for both clients and the Ziegler SHCFP Team;
  • Building bridges with the other businesses at Ziegler, since greater scale of coordinated business yields greater bottom-line margins;
  • Enhancing a strong, positive image and reputation; Honesty, Integrity and credibility are key to Ziegler, the SHCFP and each individual team member and client;
  • Determining the appropriate fee arrangements;
  • Establishing clear definitions of target clients;
  • Establishing meaningful, measurable goals and milestones for his or her sector coverage; ensuring that the organization meets its objectives;
  • Possessing an understanding of the firm’s competition in its respective areas of expertise and being able to communicate the Ziegler Value Proposition to clients;
