Job description

About Us
Bayland Health is a fast-growing wellness company with a portfolio of three nutrition brands-led by our flagship, Micro Ingredients. From superfoods to vitamins, we offer pure, high-quality ingredients trusted by over ten million health-conscious consumers.
As a Top 10 seller on Amazon and TikTok in the U.S., we're driven by innovation, transparency, and a commitment to making wellness simple and accessible. We're looking for passionate, growth-minded individuals who are excited about the wellness industry and eager to help us take our brands to the next level.
About the Role
The Content Strategist - Paid Media is responsible for developing and executing content strategies that fuel paid social performance and build authentic brand presence through influencer and creator partnerships.
This role connects the dots between paid media objectives and creator-driven storytelling, ensuring that the content fueling our ad campaigns is rooted in genuine voices, culturally relevant, and optimized to convert. The ideal candidate understands both the art of creator collaboration and the science of paid social performance and can move fluidly between briefing a macro-influencer and analyzing creative fatigue in Meta Ads Manager.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the paid social content strategy across relevant channels. Define the content approach for paid channels (Meta, TikTok, Amazon, YouTube, Google, etc) ensuring creative is tailored to platform behavior, audience segment, and funnel stage from awareness through retargeting.
  • Develop creative briefs that drive results. Translate campaign objectives and audience insights into clear, compelling briefs for creators, agencies, and internal teams, ensuring deliverables are on-brand, platform-native, and built to perform in a paid environment.
  • Analyze paid creative performance to inform content decisions. Work closely with the paid media team to monitor creative performance metrics - thumb-stop rate, hook rate, CTR, ROAS - and use those insights to iterate on creative strategy and brief future content accordingly.
  • Maintain a consistent pipeline of fresh creative assets. Given the content velocity required by paid social, proactively manage a content library and creator roster that keeps ad accounts stocked with diverse, high-performing assets.
  • Stay ahead of platform trends and creator culture. Continuously monitor shifts in the influencer landscape, emerging creator formats, and paid social best practices to keep the brand's content strategy current and competitive.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, eCommerce, and retail teams. Ensure influencer and creator content supports broader marketing priorities - including product launches, seasonal promotions, and retail sell-in moments.

Skills & Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in influencer marketing, paid social content strategy, or creator partnerships, ideally within a CPG, health, or wellness brand
  • Strong understanding of paid social platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube) and how content requirements differ across each
  • Experience managing influencer relationships independently, including outreach, negotiation, and performance tracking
  • Working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager and comfort interpreting creative performance data
  • Understanding of FTC guidelines and best practices for sponsored content disclosure
  • Excellent written communication skills with an ability to write clear, motivating creative briefs
  • Health, wellness, or supplement category experience preferred

Key Relationships
  • Reports to the Brand Director
  • Works closely with the paid media, brand, creative, and eCommerce teams

Why Bayland Health?
  • Join a fast-growing wellness company with trusted brands and products used by millions of customers.
  • Shape paid content across Meta, TikTok, Amazon, YouTube, and Google.
  • Combine creator storytelling with performance data to drive measurable results.
  • Work closely with brand, paid media, creative, and eCommerce teams while growing your strategic impact.

Salary and Benefits
  • $100K - $115K yearly base salary plus performance-based bonus
  • Health benefits: medical, dental, vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off, paid sick leave, and holidays
  • Monthly meal allowance
  • Free office snacks and drinks
  • Free parking at our Bellevue downtown office

Pay: $100,000 - $115,000 per year plus bonus incentives. The level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience will determine the compensation offered.
