Product Marketing Manager

Darling Consulting Group (DCG) is a leading national provider of consulting services and a suite of online analytical software tools for banks and credit unions. We are seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to help drive the firm's product marketing strategy from conception and goal setting through execution, measurement, analysis, reporting, and refinement.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this individual will collaborate across the organization to expand the market share and drive productive utilization of DCG's proprietary software suite.

Cross functionally, the Product Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing/Sales team as owner of the go-to-market planning for launches as well as ongoing promotion, the Product team on understanding market trends and business/design needs and to interpret data insights, and the Technology team on data science needs, design/user experience, and client support with an ultimate goal to produce a product marketing plan, processes, and associated assets.

The ideal candidate is a confident, self-starting individual who will thrive in a highly-collaborative, values-driven culture. We seek a critical analytical thinker with outstanding writing and creative skills who is passionate about product marketing and using data to further business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, differentiated product positioning, messaging and value propositions
  • Translate complex financial/analytical concepts into compelling narratives
  • Analyze marketing trends and design marketing strategies to capture new market share; collaborate with the sales team on lead generation and prospect nurturing at all stages of the sales funnel

  • Own the creative development of campaign content, including copywriting and visuals, across all channels (direct email, events, web, podcast, video, social media, whitepapers)
  • Work with DCG's marketing automation system to plan and execute strategic campaigns and design "journeys" for prospects and clients
  • Direct the development of related pages on the DCG website and its multi-media components; own product-related digital experience, including web strategy, conversion optimization and content performance
  • Work with CRM and automation systems to create business intelligence using strong data visualization skills; measure and analyze the results of marketing activity via KPIs and goal setting (pipeline contribution)

Requirements

  • At least 8-10 years of software product marketing experience, including strategic plan development and creative execution
  • Exceptional writing and grammatical skills
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas through compelling presentations and storytelling
  • Experience with marketing automation systems (e.g., Marketo, Hubspot) and databases; knowledge of Salesforce a plus
  • Past experience with banks or credit unions a plus
