Job description

Graphic Designer

Vertical Insure Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States

About this position

About Vertical Insure
Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid - in office Tuesdays and Thursdays)

Vertical Insure is the leading embedded insurance platform built for vertical SaaS platforms. We offer customized insurance options tailored to each business and its customers, adding value and generating new revenue without extra overhead. Our approach is simple; we are removing the burden from buying insurance by embedding it into our partners’ existing product flow making financial protection effortless and timely.

The Graphic Designer will be a key member of the marketing team, reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing. This person will help bring the Vertical Insure brand to life across digital, print, events, and other marketing channels, creating compelling, on-brand creative that supports demand generation, content, partner marketing, sales, and events.

This is a hands-on role for a versatile designer who can take an idea or creative brief and turn it into polished, effective work across a wide range of formats. You'll have the opportunity to work across the business while helping us build a stronger, more recognizable brand as Vertical Insure grows.

Our Minneapolis office operates on a hybrid model, with in-office collaboration on Tuesdays and Thursdays. At this time, we’re only considering local candidates.

Why This Role Matters

As Vertical Insure continues to grow across new partners and industries, the number of ways people interact with our brand is growing too. From the first ad a prospective partner sees to the materials at an industry conference, great design helps us communicate who we are and what we do quickly and clearly.

You’ll help create a consistent, engaging experience across those touchpoints while giving our marketing and sales teams the creative support they need to move quickly. This role is an opportunity to make a visible impact on a growing brand and see your work used across campaigns, content, events, partner launches, and more.

What You’ll Do

  • Create organic social graphics, blog imagery, infographics, and other visual content
  • Design conference and event materials, including booth graphics, signage, handouts, and promotional materials
  • Create print collateral, sales materials, presentations, and other marketing assetsTurn data, product concepts, and complex B2B topics into visuals that are clear and easy to understand
  • Work within our established brand system while finding new ways to bring the brand to life
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail

Who You Are

  • 3-5 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally with experience designing for B2B audiences
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating polished digital and print work
  • Strong design fundamentals, including typography, layout, hierarchy, composition, and brand consistency
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and/or comparable professional design tools
  • Comfortable taking a creative brief or rough idea and turning it into effective, on-brand creative
  • Organized, collaborative, and able to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment

*A portfolio or samples of your work are required to be considered for this position.*

Experience That Goes the Extra Mile

These aren't requirements, but we'd love to hear about them if you have them:

  • Experience designing for a B2B SaaS or technology company
  • Video recording and editing experience
  • Motion graphics or animation experience
  • Experience working with WordPress or designing for websites
  • Familiarity with Figma
  • Experience working on a small or growing marketing team where you've had the opportunity to work across a variety of projects

What We Offer

The estimated base salary for this role is: $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on the level of experience, job-related knowledge, and skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, gym membership, flexible PTO, 401(k), paid parental leave, and more.
