Job description

Job Title: Customer Service Associate
Duration: 3 Months (Potential for Extension or Permanent Hire)
Location: Onsite Springdale, AR 72764
Schedule: Sunday Tuesday and every other Saturday, 7:30 PM 7:30 AM

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Associate (CSA) to serve as the key liaison between our supply chain, carriers, customers, and internal sales teams. This role requires a high level of customer engagement, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation or logistics, and a strong ability to manage multiple systems and processes effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned external customers and internal supply chain teams.

  • Monitor and respond to high volumes of email communication (300+ per day), ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.

  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with key internal stakeholders.

  • Utilize multiple dispatch and scheduling platforms, including TES, LME, FourKites, OTR, Retailix, Retail Link, UNFI, and One Network.

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of both internal policies/procedures and external customer requirements.

  • Analyze problems and implement cost-effective, creative solutions to support smooth product delivery.

  • Proactively identify issues that may affect deliveries and collaborate with teams to resolve them promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience in transportation or logistics.

  • Experience: 1 3 years in a transportation or logistics environment (not general customer service roles).

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong email management skills required.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage conflict effectively.

  • Additional Skills: Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and negotiation capabilities; positive and proactive attitude.
