Your New Role...

TNT Sports is seeking an execution focused marketer to join our team as Assistant Marketing Manager. The Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading all marketing execution efforts that drive consumption of TNT Sports content including The College Football Playoff, Unrivaled, Big 12 College Football, Banana Ball, FIA WEC, TNT Sports on truTV, and more as the landscape changes. This candidate should have a background in marketing with experience supporting strategy teams, managing multiple projects and collaborating across disciplines. Reports to the Marketing Manager.

Role Accountabilities...

  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, leveraging internal support and driving collaboration
  • Support the creative ideation and lead request process for all priority content, working directly with our internal Creative Services Sports Unit to drive the vision and ensure all marketing assets are on brand and strategy
  • Manage the trafficking and tracking process for all marketing assets to internal teams and external partners
  • Support Marketing team in building presentations and postmortems for all sports property tentpoles and priority initiatives
  • Set priorities and manage the scheduling and creation of on-air graphics, as well as writing copy for on-air reads and media buys
  • Work cross-functionally with the following teams: Creative Services Sports Unit, Talent, Social, Insights & Research, Bleacher Report, The Media Group, Marketing Operations.
  • Work in partnership with the Marketing Manager and cross-functional teams to meet objectives for all advertising and public-facing communications, including print, digital, and video assets
  • Hire, manage and train semester interns

Qualifications & Experiences...

  • 2-3 years of marketing and/or sports experience with a focus on strategy support and project management
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, communications or related field
  • A strong work ethic, with a great attitude and the ability to be a self-starter
  • Passion for sports with a strong understanding of the basketball, football, & more.
  • Detail oriented and organized, with an eye for good creative
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
  • Experience working within a team and ability to contribute and fulfill collaborative projects
  • Experience with marketing automation and project management tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
