Job description

Imagine what you could create at Apple. At Apple, extraordinary ideas become products, services, and experiences that shape culture. Bring passion and vision, and there’s no limit to what you can build.
The Content Design team defines the content experience across some of Apple’s most visible products. We are seeking a highly senior creative individual contributor to lead the brand and interactive vision for Music, one of our core lines of business.
We are looking for a visionary creative leader with a deep foundation in narrative architecture and conceptual thinking. You are entirely motivated by the power of big ideas and possess the strategic clarity to guide them through complex, matrixed technology environments.
Reporting to the Lead of Brand and Interactive for Content Design, you will provide creative leadership across our most critical and complex initiatives, shaping vision, defining direction, and bringing clarity to ambiguity.
Description
We’re looking for a brilliant “accomplish-through-others” creative. As a highly senior individual contributor, your impact isn't measured by what you physically produce, but by the scale and quality of the ideas you champion. You operate with strong opinions, loosely held.
You possess exceptional external and internal partnership skills. You are comfortable intaking complex problems, collaborating across myriad organizations, and recognizing great ideas no matter where they originate. You will identify and champion the opportunities with the greatest potential impact, aligning teams around a shared strategic and creative point of view.
Your role is to frame the conceptual argument and orchestrate the execution. You don't need to craft the final work yourself; instead, you know how to bring the right minds and perspectives together so that the most productive creative discourse happens-both inside the team and out.
You will partner directly with a strategy lead to drive upstream thinking, influence decision-making, and serve as a trusted collaborator to leaders across the organization. Working across disciplines, you will orchestrate the efforts of the broader creative team to translate ambitious ideas into compelling, high-impact experiences that advance both business and brand objectives.
You understand the mechanics of complex corporate ecosystems. Driven by a vision that supersedes immediate obstacles, you use that institutional knowledge to push ambitious, transformative work forward alongside your UI and Product peers.
Preferred Qualifications
Worked within the music / streaming space and familiar with digital products and services.
Passionate for Apple, its products, and its customers.
Have an advanced understanding of what makes content engaging and successful across platforms and audiences
Minimum Qualifications
12+ years of experience as a creative director, principal conceptual lead, or interactive creative strategist across media, digital products, and brand
A visionary approach to problem-solving, characterized by the ability to look past immediate roadblocks and align disparate cross-functional teams around a unified, ambitious idea
A deep foundation in conceptual storytelling, presentation architecture, and framing complex arguments
Extensive experience navigating, collaborating, and driving consensus within complex, highly matrixed organizations
A demonstrated ego-free mindset that elevates broad horizontal team output, loves great ideas regardless of source, and knows how to influence final work without needing to be sole creator
