Supports the compliance team by performing administrative tasks related to regulatory requirements, documentation management, and compliance reporting. Ensures accurate recordkeeping and assists in monitoring adherence to company policies and industry regulations.
Position Summary
The Market Specialist supports carrier onboarding, engagement, and governance activities across insurance carriers, managing general agents (MGAs), and intermediary partners. Working under the guidance of senior team members, this role is responsible for coordinating onboarding activities, maintaining carrier documentation, supporting compliance requirements, and ensuring accurate execution of operational processes.
This role develops foundational expertise in carrier engagement while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Production, Operations, Compliance, and Finance. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment within established procedures, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate onboarding activities for new carrier and intermediary relationships.
Prepare, review, and maintain carrier documentation, licensing records, and required compliance materials.
Support execution of carrier agreements, authorizations, and system setup activities.
Monitor assigned onboarding activities and proactively communicate status updates to stakeholders.
Resolve routine carrier questions and operational issues by applying established procedures and escalating more complex matters as appropriate.
Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely completion of onboarding activities.
Maintain accurate carrier information across systems and identify data quality issues.
โ€ข Participate in process improvement efforts and recommend opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
โ€ข Build working relationships across functional partners while developing knowledge of CRC's carrier engagement model.

Required Qualifications

โ€ข Working knowledge of insurance products, carrier relationships, licensing requirements, and operational processes.
โ€ข Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
โ€ข Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
โ€ข Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build collaborative working relationships across functional teams.
โ€ข Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and experience working within business systems and workflow tools.
The annual base salary for this position is $65k - $75k.
