What You'll Do
  • Sub-assemble wooden skids and frames for final assembly
  • Nail and/or staple wood products, laminates, and/or coverings for cases
  • Move wooden material from storage areas and to production lines using either gas or electric-powered forklifts or hand-pulled material handling equipment
  • Unload incoming trucks of all crate-making lumber and supplies
  • Cut wood for and construct crates for UPS/parts order shipments
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Position is on 2nd Shift (Monday - Friday, 2PM - 10PM), but training on 1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 6AM - 2PM) will be required for a period of time

What You'll Bring
  • High School Diploma
  • Must be forklift certified for this position (will provide on the job)
  • Ability to be cross trained in other areas
  • Work closely with the Shipping Department for daily crate-making needs

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to use hand-held vibrating and pneumatic tools (e.g.: air nail gun)
  • Solo lift up to 49 pounds regularly
  • Team lift 50-100 pounds frequently
  • Team lift more than 100 pounds occasionally
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Wear required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) while performing tasks
