Job description

Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

We are a small custom fabrication/ millwrighting company and we spend most of our time on the road. Looking for a skilled field installer that can lead jobs with minimal supervision and direction.

Typical projects include plant maintenance, equipment repair, steel erection & installation, etc. Install staircases & railings, miscellaneous metals etc.

Must be skilled in rigging, working with cranes, connecting steel, and planning lifts. Broderson Crane operational experience is an asset.

Overtime is common and applicants must be willing to work to finish jobs as required.

Must be reliable, competent individual with ability to drive large welding rig and pull trailers.

Must have clean drivers license, valid WAH, and valid CWB SMAW all position welding tickets.

Must be able to read & interpret drawings, read & write fluent English and communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure the job is done efficiently.

Pipe fitting/ threading experience is an asset.

Steel fabrication & assembly experience is an asset.

Common millwrighting tasks include bearing replacement, claymaking heavy equipment knife & auger replacements, gearbox rebuilds, etc.

Typical hours are 7-4:30 M-F. Periodically afternoon/ night shifts are required as customers schedules dictate.
