Crane Operator
Job Summary:
Essel is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Crane Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads at construction sites and industrial facilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating cranes, possess excellent communication skills, and prioritize safety in all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Conduct pre-operation inspections of cranes and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and load charts to determine the most effective lifting methods.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with ground crew members using hand signals and two-way radios.
  • Monitor load weights and hydraulic pressure during operations to avoid overload.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on cranes and equipment as necessary.
  • Assist in training and mentoring junior operators and laborers as needed.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Crane Operator with at least 3-5 years in the field.
