About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to keep our plant running safely and efficiently. In this role you will install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical power distribution (three-phase 480 V, 120 VAC, low-voltage DC), AC and DC motor controls, PLC and computer-based control systems, combustion equipment, and process control loops. You will diagnose equipment issues using software tools and test instruments, perform preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs and machine downtime with production, requisition parts, and document and communicate across shifts. A safety-first mindset (including lockout/tagout compliance), high-quality workmanship, strong housekeeping, and reliability with overtime and occasional shift coverage are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Champion a culture of safety by consistently following safe work practices and coaching teammates to do the same.
  • Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures; stay current on plant safety requirements; actively participate in department and plant safety meetings.
  • Install conduit, wiring, and equipment with a high level of craftsmanship and professionalism.
  • Read and interpret electrical power distribution schematics, control diagrams, ladder logic, and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
  • Install, commission, maintain, and troubleshoot AC and DC motor control equipment.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair three-phase 480 V power distribution systems, 120 VAC control circuits, and low-voltage DC control systems.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot PLCs and computer-based control systems.
  • Diagnose production equipment issues using computer skills, software tools, and test instruments.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot combustion systems, including gas trains, automatic control valves, and other gas-fired equipment.
  • Understand, maintain, and repair process control loops.
  • Assess equipment condition; plan and coordinate repairs and machine downtime with production leadership.
  • Proactively requisition parts and materials to support continuous plant operations.
  • Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled and as needed; document work performed.
  • Communicate maintenance issues across shifts to ensure continuity of operations; read and record notes in Maintenance and Production logbooks.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area; ensure tools, equipment, and supplies are properly stored throughout the shift and before breaks, meals, and end-of-day.
  • Demonstrate reliability by arriving on time and working required hours, including mandatory overtime; provide occasional shift coverage as needed.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
  • Drive the highest levels of employee retention and engagement to ensure a sustainable workforce.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability within the organization.
  • Instill an environment of inclusion, where all employees feel that they can contribute and impact the company in a positive manner.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain current OSHA Certified Powered Industrial Vehicle operator license.

Experience:
