Position Overview

The Design Manager leads the Apex design team and puts clear processes in place to improve efficiency, teamwork, and design accuracy. This role guides both the creative and operational side of the work, helping projects move smoothly from concept to customer Presentation to production and installation

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor the Apex design team

Implement scalable workflows and production ready design standards

Introduce automation and AI-driven tools to improve efficiency

Maintain quality control across all design deliverables

Improve communication between design and project management

Reduced design turnaround times

Improved production accuracy and reduced fabrication errors

Team development and mentorship success

Implementation of innovative workflow improvements

Qualifications

3+ years of design experience in signage, manufacturing, architecture, or related fields Preferred

Leadership experience managing or mentoring designers

Strong understanding of production ready design preferred

Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, and Auto CAD preferred
