Peer Support Specialist (CPS) (Senior Living)

In this role, you’ll move beyond task-based care to help older adults navigate recovery and wellness goals, and make a lasting impact on quality of life. Your lived experience has prepared you to listen, advocate, and support — now you can use those strengths to support healing in a personal and transformative way. As a Certified Peer Support Specialist, you’ll provide hope, understanding, and empowerment through this shared experience—making a real difference every day and friendships to last a lifetime.

Qualifications:

·         Knowledge of and experience in the recovery process from mental health disorders and/or substance use.

·         Eighteen (18) years of age and older.

·         Have a high school diploma or general equivalency diploma (preferred)

·         Has completed a peer specialist certification training curriculum approved by the state Of Pennsylvania

·         Criminal History Clearances- PA State Police Clearance, Child Abuse, FBI
