Job Responsibilities Procurement Manager Department: DAF Purchasing and Central Supply Advertised Salary Range: Part/Full Time: Full Time About UofSC From the Upstate to the Lowcountry, the University of South Carolina system is transforming the lives of South Carolinians through the impact of our eight institutions and 20 locations throughout the state. More than 50,000 students are enrolled at one of eight institutions, including the research campus in Columbia and comprehensive four-year universities in Aiken, Upstate and Beaufort. In addition, our Palmetto College campuses in Salkehatchie, Union, Lancaster and Sumter enable students to earn associate or bachelor's degrees through a combination of in-person, online or blended learning.

Processes systemwide requisitions utilizing all procurement sourcing methods in compliance with the SC Consolidated Procurement Code, SC Regulations, and University and departmental policies and procedures.

Solicits, evaluates, and awards offers for simple and complex purchases. Performs contract administration duties and provides customer service to all University stakeholders including faculty, staff and supplier community. Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions) Preferred Qualifications Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC ), CPPO or CPPB .

NIGP - CPP is preferred. Experience related to state procurement and/or professional services. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Have knowledge of State and University policy and procedures.

Familiarization with SC Consolidated Procurement Code. Capable of working harmoniously with a diverse group of people. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
