Job description

Bring your expertise in special education to support students across several elementary sites in the Phoenix and Glendale areas. Multiple contract openings are available for passionate Special Education Teachers who are committed to making a positive impact. Full-time and part-time positions are offered starting as soon as possible through May 2027.

Openings include self-contained classrooms serving students in behavior programs, moderate intellectual disability (MID) ranges, Kindergarten and 2nd Grade Autism programs, Special Needs Preschool, and part-time resource positions. Locations vary, and you'll find opportunities tailored to your experience—such as behavior programs preferring CPI certification, and preschool classrooms valuing Early Childhood and Special Education credentials.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Special Education Teacher Certification required
  • Valid IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Experience or certification in behavior programs and/or Early Childhood Special Education preferred for certain positions
  • CPI certification strongly preferred for behavior program roles
  • Background working in cross-category and autism-specific self-contained settings is beneficial
