Job Title: Account Training Manager
Department: Retail Mass Merchandising
Reports to: Sr. Account Training Manager
Location: New York, NY
Status: Full-Time
Salary: $60,000-$70,000
Note that this range is representative of earning potential and actual pay will be based on skills, experience, and/or geographic location.
Join Our Team:
Winston Retail is looking for an Account Training Manager for our Retail Mass Merchandising division, who will develop and implement training tools/materials for the field team. This position will collaborate cross-functionally with Account Management and District Market Managers to ensure 100% execution of all Retail Mass Merchandising standards and directives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute training tools and material to be deployed to the field team supporting Retail Mass Merchandising.
  • Create CPG training tools to ensure that all talent are prepared to overcome common challenges and execute visits to meet the client's expectations.
  • Execute on the direction of the District Market Manager and collaborate with Account Management to ensure that all Retail Mass Merchandising standards are completed to expectations.
  • Develop and maintain the full Retail Mass Merchandising training suite including visit expectations, execution of tasks, relationship building, negotiating, and reporting requirements.
  • Create and update Store Visit Reports according to the client's needs and requests to drive success in the field.
  • Create tools to enhance the Field Merchandising team's ability to create efficiencies in their roles.
  • Provide relevant data summaries to support the analysis of visit execution and project success.
  • Monitor client feedback through our proprietary systems, communicate findings to the DMM, and take action where appropriate.
  • Evaluate and optimize the SVR/proto review process to visualize and communicate results internally and to the client.

  • 4-year or advanced degree a plus
  • 3 years of experience within a specialty or retail chain
  • Experience managing a team
  • Previous work as a retail coordinator or visual manager
  • Experience developing training materials
  • Experience managing a client within an agency
