Job description

Applicant will be responsible for the sales and support of pneumatic automation components along with complementary lines of aluminum extrusion framing and conveying systems to a strong existing customer base in central/western CT and western MA. Candidate will work with design engineers at original equipment manufacturers to specify products for new projects in the automation, packaging, medical, food processing, semi-conductor and material handling industries. Candidate will also work with maintenance, purchasing, operations, facility managers and EH&S personnel at MRO accounts to assist with their fluid power automation, aluminum extrusion framing, safety, and conveying needs as well as to ensure our products are performing optimally.

This technical sales representative should have some technical background (pneumatics and automation experience or engineering degree is a plus) , enjoy working with people and solving problems, and have a desire to grow the territory by following-up on leads and uncovering new opportunities. Candidate will also provide regular updates on account activities and status of opportunities in our CRM (Salesforce).

Candidate should reside in the central/western CT area and will be paid a combination of salary and commission.
