A respected and growing CPA firm in the Bellevue area that is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its Tax team. The firm offers a collaborative environment, strong leadership, quality clients, and a culture that emphasizes both professional growth and work-life balance.

Position Overview

The Senior Accountant will work closely with Managers and Partners on tax engagements while assisting with client relationships and mentoring junior staff. This role provides exposure to a broad range of tax work and offers long-term growth opportunities within a stable and well-established public accounting firms

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review:
    • Individual tax returns (1040)
    • Partnership returns (1065)
    • Corporate and S-Corporation returns (1120/1120S)
    • Trust and fiduciary returns
  • Work directly with business owners and individual clients
  • Assist with tax planning and research projects
  • Respond to client tax notices and inquiries
  • Support and mentor junior accounting staff
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on client engagements and deadlines
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of projects during tax season and throughout the year
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA preferred or actively pursuing
  • 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
