Job description

United Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State, Inc. d/b/a Constructive Partnerships Unlimited (CP Unlimited) is one of New York City's largest and most wide spread Community Living Organizations with programs dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities.

CP Unlimited was formerly known as Cerebral Palsy Associations of NYS. Our new name better reflects our wide array of services and programs and the diversity of people with disabilities that our agency supports.

CP Unlimited is currently seeking a full time HVAC Mechanic to join our team Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm.

Position duties:
Performs minor repairs and/or replacements on electrical, plumbing and major work on air conditioning systems;
Works with electrical and pneumatic control, reads wiring diagrams;
Executes general preventive maintenance program on equipment, systems and furnishings;
Drives agency vehicles to and from assignments to take care of emergencies/routine work and deliveries;
Patch, tape and paint as needed.

Position requirements:
Experience in refrigerators and HVAC units;
Must have expertise on HVAC units, window A/C units and refrigeration units;
Valid NYS driver's license and must be within acceptance of insurance limitations of CP Unlimited vehicles;
Willing to travel all five boroughs.
