Job description

Klaviyo is looking for an experienced Content Marketing Lead to own the strategy, development, production, and performance of global campaign, demand generation, and thought leadership content.

This role sits at the intersection of storytelling, pipeline generation, and editorial operations. You'll lead the creation of content that builds market trust, shapes perception, supports go-to-market priorities, and drives measurable business outcomes across segments and regions. You'll partner closely with product marketing, PR, brand, sales, regional marketing, events, customer marketing, and external agencies to turn complex ideas into high-impact content programs that resonate globally.

This person will own content from ideation through publication and measurement across formats including gated assets, research reports, one-pagers, landing pages, webinars, interactive experiences, articles, executive bylines, customer stories, video, and audio.

A critical part of this role is helping Klaviyo modernize how content gets made. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience building or operating AI-assisted editorial production systems, including vibe coding workflows in tools like Claude Code or Claude CoWork, and can help improve the speed, consistency, and scalability of content production globally. Experience with AirOps is a strong plus.

How You'll Make a DifferenceOwn global campaign and thought leadership content strategy
  • Develop and execute a cohesive content strategy spanning campaign, demand generation, and thought leadership.
  • Build content that reinforces Klaviyo's market narrative while supporting segment and regional go-to-market goals.
  • Identify the most important themes, formats, and storylines to drive engagement, leads, pipeline influence, and brand credibility.
  • Translate complex product, market, and customer insights into clear, differentiated content for multiple audiences.
Lead content creation across the funnel
  • Own the development of high-impact content assets including ebooks, white papers, research reports, comparison guides, one-pagers, webinars, landing pages, executive thought leadership, customer stories, video, and audio.
  • Create content that supports the full buyer journey, from awareness and education through consideration and conversion.
  • Repurpose research, events, webinars, and customer narratives into multi-format content programs that extend reach and value.
  • Ensure every asset meets Klaviyo's editorial standards for quality, accuracy, tone, and narrative consistency.
Build scalable AI editorial production systems
  • Design, test, and improve AI-assisted editorial workflows that increase content production efficiency without lowering quality.
  • Bring hands-on experience with vibe coding editorial systems, ideally using Claude Code or Claude CoWork, to help streamline briefing, drafting, editing, repurposing, QA, and localization workflows.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and agencies to create repeatable systems, templates, prompts, and playbooks that scale content production globally.
  • Help establish best practices for how AI is used in editorial production across teams, markets, and formats.
  • Identify opportunities to use tools such as AirOps and other workflow platforms to improve speed, consistency, and operational leverage.
Partner cross-functionally across the business
  • Collaborate with PR to align thought leadership content with media strategy and executive visibility.
  • Partner with product marketing, sales, events, and segment leads to support integrated campaigns and launches.
  • Work with brand, creative, and localization teams to ensure content performs globally while remaining relevant in local markets.
  • Partner with customer and partner teams to turn customer proof points and ecosystem relationships into compelling stories.
Manage external production and global execution
  • Manage agencies, freelancers, and contractors to deliver high-quality content on time.
  • Give clear editorial direction, feedback, and quality control throughout the production process.
  • Build scalable systems and working models that support consistent content execution across regions.
Measure performance and optimize
  • Establish clear goals and reporting frameworks for campaign and thought leadership content.
  • Track performance across lead generation, pipeline influence, engagement, brand impact, and earned attention.
  • Use data, audience insights, and competitive research to improve messaging, formats, and distribution strategy over time.
Who You Are
  • 8+ years of experience in content marketing, editorial, thought leadership, brand journalism, or demand generation content in B2B, SaaS, or related environments.
  • Proven experience owning content strategy and execution across both brand-building and pipeline-driving programs.
  • Strong editorial instincts with the ability to shape a clear point of view, maintain a high bar for quality, and tell compelling stories across formats.
  • Experience developing global content with an understanding of how to adapt messaging for different segments, regions, and stages of the funnel.
  • Strong operational ability to manage end-to-end workflows across stakeholders, deadlines, agencies, and channels.
  • Experience working closely with senior leaders, cross-functional partners, and external contributors.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort using performance insights to refine content strategy.
Critical technical and systems experience
  • Demonstrated experience with AI editorial production systems and workflow design.
  • Hands-on familiarity with vibe coding approaches to content operations and editorial automation.
  • Experience using Claude Code or Claude CoWork to build or improve content production workflows is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with AirOps is a plus.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms, Google Docs, analytics tools, and modern content operations workflows.
  • Comfort experimenting with new tools and turning successful experiments into repeatable team processes.
