Job description

Are you ready for a fast paced, upbeat, and rewarding career in the sun?

We are looking for another Irrigation Technician to join our team for year round employment. This is a maintenance and install job. You will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing irrigation systems on HOA and commercial properties ranging from 1 to 40 acres. In the Winter, work with/oversee labor crews installing irrigation systems and performing system upgrades. You may also help maintenance/install crews during downtime. This is a year round position.

Pay is dependent on experience and ranges from $17-23/hr.

To be eligible:

-2+ years in the irrigation field

-Ability to work with PVC, copper, and poly pipe.

-IA certifications are preferred and influence pay rates.

-Knowledge of various controllers, troubleshooting, and programming.

-Know how to properly use a toner, locator, and multimeter.

-Be able to lift 40+ lbs consistently, rotate, bend, and kneel for extended periods of time.

-Work in extreme weather conditions: Temperature swings, rain/snow, freezing weather.

-Have good organizational and time management skills.

- Able to work Mon-Fri 6:00-4:00 PM with some Saturday/overtime expected

-Able to work 10+ hours a day on occasion

-A valid drivers license and insurable record is required
