Housekeeping Personnel

JOB DESCRIPTION

Lucchese Bootmaker has been hand making Cowboy Boots in Texas for more than 138 years. Lucchese focuses on getting the perfect fitting boot on every customerโ€™s foot by offering the most unique in store experience. Operational Excellence Focus:

The Housekeeping personnel will be a working member of the maintenance department. The housekeeping personnel will ensure our production and distribution facilities are clean and presentable to our employees and guests. They will have a keen attention to detail, a self-starter, and can complete assigned work without requiring supervision.

Main duties will include:

  • Ensure all offices and common areas are cleaned and maintained to high standards.
  • Disinfect commonly used items like door handles, office tools/equipment, and faucet handles.
  • Empty all trash cans and replace liners.
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms.
  • Clean breakrooms.
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping of floors and carpet areas.
  • Remove debris from outside break areas.
  • Restock supplies in bathrooms, breakrooms, and other common areas.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
  • Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions
  • Dust furniture and fixtures in conference rooms and office areas

Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Strong knowledge of cleaning best practices, chemicals, equipment, and procedures
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required. Additional training in housekeeping is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Good physical condition and strength
  • Able to safely lift boxes up to 30 pounds.
