Associate Pharmacy Technician at Providence Ambulatory Services in Portland, Oregon

Full-Time/Day Shift

Performs all typical duties of a retail or call center pharmacy staff technician as defined by the Oregon Board of Pharmacy and local pharmacy drug outlet procedures. Fills physician orders for patient medications under a Registered Pharmacist's supervision. Communicate with and service the needs of the Retail, Mail Order, Specialty Pharmacy clientele.

Required Qualifications:

  • Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire. Or

  • Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire.

  • In compliance with the Providence Health and Services-OR Human Resources policy #302 Background Checks, a criminal background check is required for this position, based on assigned duties upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Certification/CPhT.

  • 1 year customer service.
